Llewela Bailey is one of the most familiar faces in regional television, having worked as a main anchor woman for ITV Central in the West and East Midlands for two decades. Llewela's career began in the early Eighties when, after completing her journalist training at The London Broadcasting School, she worked for BBC local radio in Northampton and Nottingham, as a reporter and latterly news producer. In 1988, she entered the TV world as a sub-editor for ITV Central, becoming late news presenter in Birmingham a year later.
